The RUMSpotWatch was born as a proposal for the Toyota Mobility challenge as initiative aims to improve parking management and user experience, addressing the daily challenges faced by students.

Limited parking spaces and inefficient space utilization lead to frustration, wasted time, and increased traffic congestion. Students often spend more than 15 minutes searching for parking spots in peak hours, causing them to be late for classes.

Our goal is to create an intelligent parking management system that provides real-time parking availability, reduces search time, optimizes space utilization, and improves the overall campus experience.

RUMSpotWatch uses Cameras to detect parking space occupancy in real-time. Our mobile app provides live updates on available spots. The system includes predictive analytics to forecast parking patterns and optimize space allocation.
